General participation criteria
- Actively working in the field (within past 36 months)
- Focused on solutions, not general research about the topic
- Working on solutions that may have large-scale impact, beyond your own organization

| Researcher (academic/scientific) | Published or publishable quality research focused on solutions and interventions |
| Author or expert | Produced a body of work that establishes your leadership or expertise in the field |
| Entrepreneur or Innovator (for-profit or non-profit) | Actively working on a loneliness project or business. Includes startups and local/regional experiments. |
| Program leader or executive | Directly responsible for managing or funding a loneliness project. |
| Government | Directly involved in loneliness programs or policy-making. |
| Donor | Funder of the Loneliness Institute or directly funding other loneliness programs. |
