Where we can help, and where we can’t
Loneliness is a problem that many of us face.
If that’s you, we empathize and understand. Unfortunately, we don’t have support to offer you. The Loneliness Institute doesn’t have and resources that can help individuals struggling with loneliness.
We are focused on researchers and innovators who are trying to find and build big solutions that can help millions of people. All of our programs are designed to help those folks help as many people as possible.
You can learn more about our solutions model here. Specifically, our work is limited in these ways:
- We are not involved in studying the loneliness problem in general – just how to fix it.
- We are not studying adjacent fields such as aging or teen social media use.
- We are not a social services organization that provides direct help to individuals impacted by loneliness.
- We are not a public resource serving people interested in learning about the topic.
